Noble Ellington

Noble Ellington

Noble Ellington is a cotton merchant from Winnsboro who is a former member of both houses of the Louisiana Legislature. He served as a democrat in the state Senate from 1996-2008. He was a member of the state House from 1988-96 and again from 2008-2012. In 2010, near the end of his legislative career, Ellington changed his affiliation to Republican. In 2012 he was appointed to a position in the Louisiana Department of Insurance as the chief deputy commissioner. He serves under elected commissioner Jim Donelon.
